Connect Payroll · Security

Security is part of the payroll workflow.

We use practical controls to reduce the chance of accidental access, wrong-recipient delivery and untraceable payroll changes. We do not claim a certification or a zero-risk service.

How the product protects payroll

  • Each business has its own private workspace, and users can only open businesses they have been invited to.
  • Invitations and email sign-in codes expire and can only be used as intended.
  • Bank details are encrypted when stored and hidden on everyday screens.
  • Important payroll changes, finalisation, payment status and document delivery are kept in the history.
  • Paid payroll runs are locked. Any later correction is linked to the original run instead of quietly replacing it.
  • System health checks do not display employee pay or passwords.

Customer security responsibilities

Use individual accounts, protect Microsoft 365 or email-code access, review invitations before accepting them, and keep computers and phones updated. Do not copy bank details, access tokens, login codes, raw biometric templates or payslip PINs into tickets or chat.

Before paying employees, the payroll officer should compare the final outputs with the business’s expected figures and keep the approved payment process separate from the application.

Report a concern

For suspected data exposure, a wrong recipient, a lost device or a compromised account, contact support@connectpayroll.ws immediately. Include the business name and a safe description of the issue, but do not attach a full payslip, bank register, login code or password. We will verify the requester, preserve relevant evidence and coordinate the next step.
